Wayne Cochran was an American singer, known as The White Knight of Soul. This Blue Eyed Soul artist mixed Rockabilly with Country music and in 1961, he recorded “Last Kiss”, a Teenage Tragedy song (a.k.a. Death Disc) made famous in 1999 by Pearl Jam.
“Last Kiss” is about a car crash tragic date that ended with his girlfriend death, and his desire to meet her soon.
