“1 Thing” is a 2005 R’n’B worldwide hit by American singer Amerie. Written by Amerie with Rich Harrison (who’ve also produced Beyonce’s “Crazy in Love” with the Chi-Littes spot-on sample) the song loops a drum pattern from 70s Funk supergroup The Meters song “Oh Calcutta!”.
